You are being asked to hand over the exact moment you were born. It is fair to want to know what happens to it, and what the product does with it. This page is the answer, and it is the page we correct first if any of it stops being true.
Your eight characters are not looked up in a table. We compute the apparent position of the sun for the exact moment you were born, find the true solar term boundaries by successive approximation, and read the four pillars off those boundaries under the traditional rules. Your luck decades, the relations between your characters and your named stars follow from the same rules. The arithmetic runs on your device. City longitude comes from GeoNames. Enter the same birth moment twice and you get the same chart twice, because a calculation has no opinion and no mood.
Every reading is prose written before you arrived, in English, Chinese and Russian. Your chart decides which published passages you see and in what order, so the same chart always receives the same chapter passages. Daily and dated readings change with the date, by the same fixed rules. Much of that prose was drafted with the help of AI writing tools, then reviewed and edited before it was published. Nothing is written for you on the spot. There is no language model between your birth moment and the words in front of you. If that ever changes, this page changes first.
When a reading cites a classical source, that source is the Sanming Tonghui (三命通會), the Ming-dynasty compendium of the Four Pillars, and we cite it only where the text supports the line. Anything the classics do not say is presented as tradition or as our own interpretation, never as a quotation.
Ask gives a firm answer, Yes, Not yet or No, with a named date and the best hour in it. That answer is what your chart and the traditional almanac say about the day, read from six sources, and each source is shown to you. The career, love and family timelines mark the years where two independent signals in your chart agree. Past years are there for you to recognise, and years ahead are offered as windows, never as events. Union dates for couples read the almanac against both charts. Choosing a date this way is almanac practice, a long custom, not a ruling found in the classics.
We tested our own timing engine against 69,000 randomised charts pushed through identical code. It did not beat chance. We publish that result rather than bury it. So when The Eight names a date, it is the tradition's own reading of the calendar, offered for reflection and planning. It is not a forecast, and nothing here predicts what will happen to you. We still offer it because people have planned by this calendar for centuries, and knowing what it says about a day is useful to someone weighing that day, even when the outcome is not written in it. It is not medical, financial or life advice, and the decision in front of you stays yours.
Your chart, your core nature and your daily reading are free, and they always will be. The Eight Plus adds the deep readings about you and your relationships, the full weekly and monthly readings, the career, love and family timelines, Ask for any date with full date windows, the Time Machine in full, and union dates for couples. If our tiers ever change, those three free things stay free.
